Chiang Mai Handicrafts - Half Day Tour (CMHD3)
This tour starts at 9am or
1pm. (You can take the tour in the morning or afternoon.) You are picked up from your
hotel by your guide.
First drive east out of Chiang Mai to Sankamphaeng, where there are many handicraft shops
situated along that road.
Visit any of the shops and centres you wish to. If you are interested in particular
products tell your guide and he/she can take you to the appropriate locations. As well as
seeing products you will be able to see how they are made. Products include - celadon,
silver, furniture, jewellery, lacquerware, silk, saa paper, handmade umbrellas and more.
Plenty of opportunities for buying bargains and beautiful handmade products.
Make the return drive to Chiang Mai. This tour ends when you are taken back to your hotel
at approx midday or 5pm, depending on whether you took the tour in the morning or
afternoon.
Note: This is a private tour and entrance fees are
included. Lunch is not included.
