Angkor Wat Exploration
Located near Siem Reap, the Angkor temple complex is comprised of
Angkor
Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Banteay Srei, and countless other structures built
between the 9th and 13th centuries when the Khmer Empire was at its peak. This
trip is ideal for people with limited time as we concentrate solely on the
temple complex.
Day 1 Siem Reap
We meet upon arrival in Siem Reap and transfer to our hotel.
We visit Kravan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, Eastern Mebon, and Pre Rup
temples.
Lunch at Viroth restaurant.
In the afternoon we explore Ta Prohm, Takeo and Preah Khan temples.

Tonight we have dinner with a performance of classical Cambodian dances
at Mondial restaurant. (L,D)

Day 2
Siem Reap
Following breakfast, we visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom and the Bayon.
Return to the hotel for a break and a swim.
Lunch at the hotel.
At 2 PM return to Angkor and continue your visit.
Visit the Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Royal
Enclosure and Phimean Akas until sunset.
Dinner at Madame Butterfly restaurant. (B,L,D)

Day 3 Siem Reap
This morning, we visit Bantai Srei,"The Citadel of Women". Tucked away in
the countryside, sandstone carvings are better preserved here than most
temples at Angkor. Return to Siem Reap for lunch. Lunch at the Banteay Srei
Restaurant.
After lunch we visit the landmine museum and take a boat trip to the
floating fishing village on the Tonle Sap lake.
Dinner at the Khmer Kitchen Restaurant. (B,L,D)

Day 4 Siem Reap
Today, we have our last morning visit to the Angkor complex. Return to the
hotel to check out.
Last farewell lunch at the FCC.
Visit the market for some last minute shopping and the Artisan d'Angkor silk
farm.
Transfer to the airport. End of services. (B,L)
